Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Telvok ("the Service"), including the Librarian MCP plugin and telvok.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Telvok is a knowledge marketplace that enables AI coding assistants to capture, query, and share knowledge through the Librarian MCP plugin. Users can:

  • Save and query local knowledge entries
  • Browse and purchase knowledge books from other users
  • Publish and sell their own knowledge books

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content Ownership & Licensing

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create and publish on Telvok. By publishing, you grant Telvok a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and facilitate access to your content through the Service.

Purchased Content: When you purchase a book, you receive a license to use that content according to the license type specified by the seller (open, attributed, or personal use).

Attestation: When publishing, you must confirm that your content is original work (or you have rights to publish it) and contains no secrets, credentials, or sensitive data.

5. Payments & Platform Fees

Pricing: Sellers set their own prices for paid content. Free (open) content is available at no cost.

Platform Fee: Telvok charges a 20% fee on paid transactions. Sellers receive 80% of the sale price.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed through Stripe. By using paid features, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe a purchase was made in error or content was misrepresented.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Publish content containing secrets, API keys, passwords, or credentials
  • Publish content you don't have rights to distribute
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Telvok shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content published by users. Use purchased content at your own discretion.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
